Roof Hail Damage Insurance Claim Denied ?
If the insurance claim for your roof’s hail damge was denied (even though your neighbor got a new roof), I’ve got good news for you… It’s gonna be okay! Go ahead, breathe now.
The first thing you need to do is to get a 2nd opinion. Invite a professional mansfield tx roofer out to take a look. Most will give you an honest opinion without asking for any payment.
If they can find proof that your roof did indeed suffer terminal damge, ask them to take pictures and show you what they’ve found.
Next, call your local insurance agent to let them know you are not satisfied with the initial report. Ask to have a new adjuster come out and meet with you and your professional roofing contractor. Be sure that they schedule a time when you can meet with them in person.
When the day arrives, introduce your roofing contractor to your new adjuster. State your case simply and let the adjuster know what you expect out of the meeting. Then go inside and let your roofing contractor go to work for you.
It may take a few minutes or a few hours but in many cases this will be enough to get your roof replaced.
